Top 5 Convenience Stores Apps Performance on Android in Mexico Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the top convenience store apps on the Android platform in Mexico demonstrated various performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here, we provide a closer look at the data for mi OXXO, 7-Eleven México, Dollar General, The 99 Store, and Family Dollar.

mi OXXO experienced significant growth in downloads and active users throughout Q3 2022. Weekly downloads started at approximately 89.3K at the end of June and peaked at 126K by mid-September. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, beginning at around 215K and reaching over 278K by the end of the quarter.

For 7-Eleven México, the app saw fluctuations in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads ranged from 2.4K to 7.9K, with a noticeable peak early in July. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 4.7K and peaking at 9.5K mid-July before settling at around 6.7K by the end of September.

Dollar General showed relatively stable performance with modest download and active user numbers. Weekly downloads hovered between 100 and 450, while weekly active users ranged from 1.8K to 2.9K, with a slight peak in late July.

The 99 Store experienced a gradual increase in downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at 10 and eventually rose to 276 by the end of September. Active users showed a similar trend, beginning at 144 and reaching 410 by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Family Dollar maintained consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from 52 to 148, while active users fluctuated between 134 and 230, showing a slight peak at the end of September.
